“For I am sure that … [nothing] … will be able to separate
us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans
8: 37-39
With great certainty the apostle speaks about the love of
God in Christ Jesus. We recognize that the basis for this
certainty is not in Paul, but in the love of God. That gives
confidence and comfort to all those who experience the
love of God.
Today is a day that we celebrate how the Lord Jesus assure
us of the love of God, for we are reminded of the
outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives us the
certainty that we are wrapped in the love of God in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
